The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 突发奇想：女主不如选moonlight里的Layla呢😄 最近能一家人一起看的电影一般都是适合原著/游戏粉边看边解说的，所以也没觉得有多好或多差，
昨天看了预售场次，整体观感还不错，是比较典型的好莱坞电影，故事线完整，有很刺激的打斗戏份，也有智斗的部分，荷兰弟的一副好身材显露无疑，果然还是年轻，打戏也很精彩…这一部是荷兰弟演的内特和苏利文的第一次合作，也给后面的续集做了铺垫，要记得看彩蛋…
看完月红2的我，专门来留评，以前的铺垫和伏笔圆上了，五星给制作和月红。

剧情约等于没有剧情，但是对游戏的场景还原做得还是挺好的，这片最大的问题是，男主在游戏里就是一个中年大叔啊，为什么一定要坚持给荷兰弟演，从一开始就错了。
倒也不差，是那种久违的电影院配合可乐爆米花可以吃下一大顿的爽。婆婆妈妈恋爱降智也有，可是也是爽到一种平衡点上。没玩过游戏，不过改成这样也挺好看的。基本维持了之前好莱坞商业片该有的样子，美国肖战的这套表演复制了他蜘蛛侠的上天入地。这年头何必自讨苦吃去看上教育课啊，爽就完事了，其他先放一边qnmd。安东尼奥·班德拉斯肉眼可见的老了😭
剧情是很爽，但演员没有很好的呈现出来，继续努力，继续努力

以前不太喜欢Tom Holland，看完这部反而有点儿尊重他了，黑转路。在这部烂片里，他的认真太突出了。西班牙巴塞罗那虚拟旅行。密室的段落，感觉缺了好多镜头。钱、信任，美。全片最感动是古老的船帆自己拉满的那刻。角色关系是BL同人风，还加上猫。女性角色都非常奇怪。There's a world u've never seen, and u'll see.
6/10 没玩过游戏，不过算是一部合格的动作爽片，推荐一看

网上提前看到了，对不起知识产权，但是对得起自己的钱包了！真心觉得一般，很一般！
而且关于选角问题，感觉索尼选荷兰弟是为了流量，剧情应该是神海4的剧情改编，夹杂着其他代的剧情。荷兰弟如果演孤儿院那段剧情我觉得还好，到4代的时候内森都小40了吧，苏利文都60多了，我更喜欢大爷大叔样，稳重又智慧。里面的解谜也够简单的，游戏可比这痛苦多了。
IMAX上看复古式肉搏还挺刺激的，老牌花美男班德拉斯居然沦落到只打了半部酱油，我还指望他突然爆衣呢，真是前浪死在沙滩上。
游戏改编的及格作品，寻宝解谜的过程弱于《国家宝藏》，荷兰弟和马克的选角与游戏实在有距离，男女主没有火花强行凑，结尾直升机吊五百年古船更是离奇，好在节奏流畅，动作戏不含糊。看个乐，可以期待下一部

够炫目也挺精彩，这片子适合迪士尼去制作啊。其实只要有创意，这世界不缺乏好故事！俏皮、诙谐、爆米花。只是动作程度在刺激一些更好！ PS：额外收获，安东尼奥·班德拉斯一枚！哈哈
