The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 披了犯罪片外衣的社会问题片？两个多小时的片子，但是人物挺单薄的，林遣都的角色安排不知道意义是为何。利根一个沉默寡言的蓝领，怎么就敢放火了……我能感受到的只有灾害的伤痛可能比外人想象的要大。这次上海的事情也是一样，只有真正在漩涡中心，才知道被夺走的是什么。
了不起啊，311那么多年过去了，每一年仍然在反思。一次比一次彻底。地震是天灾，幸存的人饿死是人祸啊！上海人民醒醒！“要发声，要比那些卑劣的声音发出更大更理直气壮的声音！”

一个关于离别与生死的故事，荒诞又现实，那些离奇的片段把故事从真实中抽离，最后又重重地砸回现实。影片节奏匆忙而又平均，絮絮叨叨的像部流水账，却也展现了人生真正的样子。所以还是多折腾折腾吧，为人生多留下些痕迹，还是那句话，人生若无悔，那该多无趣啊。
