The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 其实历史永远不应该只有一面
看之前甚至不知道这是一部关于911的歌舞剧，前面还在想怎么会有这么奇怪的故事设定（籍籍无名的小镇突然迎来大量飞机和数千名旅客），反应过来后十分佩服这个“在别处”的视角。
真实事件改编，十周年的时候当着全村人表演个专场也太感人了吧，美式主旋律的正确用法。演员们一人分饰乘客和岛民，很考验基本功和调度了。
节奏很好，角色塑造得也很好，设定很巧，能这么有趣确实意料之外，没打五星是因为旋律没戳中我，个人喜好。。。
看过现场，重看官摄还是很激动。记忆全部都回来了。有几个演员是发福了啊😂
仅仅拍摄完整的舞台演出，难道不是样板戏？除了时代所限，当年的蓝苹同志在这方面也做得不错了。只感觉是话剧，谁说歌舞片？跟比迪斯尼电影比起来，不过一锅清汤。歌舞起着渲染作用，并没有推动情节。故事只是讲911事件时迫降纽芬兰的多个航班，难道也是带着任务拍的？舞台上的演员有感染力，场景转换既快捷又流畅。然而，低调而艺术的表彰大会仍是表彰大会，看久一点就真没意思。[ZXZJ]

看完勒 倒是没有哭 但是整体很温暖 有的歌很好听 角色也都区分得很明晰 可以从它的歌舞里感受到音乐剧的魅力的程度｜ps：每个人都受制于社会 让我想起了十月底经历的一些事
剧本和音乐都好棒！一个很沉重的题材却一直通过场景转换来减轻大家的悲伤…加上个人的故事和小镇居民的爱心，最后看到眼睛湿润…
剧情很棒歌也好听，没有刻意煽情真的太好了，真实事件下的人性光辉
隔离，灾难，剧院，都让我眼泪汪汪。世界戏剧节快乐，早日剧院见🙏

一个温暖的故事，一场意外带来的意想不到的迫降，每个小镇居民都尽力提供最好的条件给陷入恐慌的乘客们，关于爱的笑泪共存的故事。原卡yyds，女机长姐姐太帅了。
