The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 本片获得去年法国电影的最佳电影奖，可见也得到了作家祖国人们的认可。

剧本很好，但人物刻画有点儿弱。虽然巴尔扎克为了突出幻灭感设置了悲剧和救赎的结尾，但吕西安还是应该手撕了上流社会和投机资本家，革命万岁！
男主从无名到兴盛再到没落，拍得还可以，但故事本身并不怎么吸引人～
也没爽到什么，开始大舅哥被爆了头，大家枪法集体失准。
眼见他起高楼，眼见他宴宾客，眼见他楼塌了。
好看！虽然导演用了太多旁白有偷懒之嫌，但巴尔扎克的作品改编成电影可太优秀了！男演员也很厉害！
不知道是演员扮相、行为举止不够古典，还是拍摄手法有问题，总有种现代人在演古装戏的违和感。而且故事拍得不甚有吸引力，影片时长又有两个半小时，让人情不自禁开始走神。

没看过原著，记录在那个时代一个青年的沉浮，果然没有背景的人在任何时代都有炮灰感。
前些天还很烦现在的媒体让人与真实世界的联系都割裂了，但看完幻灭突然与这种想法和解了，毕竟烂了几百年了，该说谢谢巴尔扎克😘
