Hotel manager Marcus Winter is awaiting an important visitor to the Emirates Palace Hotel.His long-time friend – the representative of a big tour operator – should be arriving soon to inspect the hotel.But instead of his friend, it’s a new inspector that comes – Sarah Riems, whose ideas concerning the needs of hotel guests greatly differ from those of Marcus.Trying to impress Sarah with the distinctive flair of his hotel, Marcus makes a grand presentation, emphasizing the spectacular regional cuisine and even taking the inspector on several trips into the breathtaking desert. 这话剧感非常忠实了。加上特殊装置艺术和白幕、黑白影像，怎么讲呢，完全的戏剧+电影语言+装置艺术，1+1+1是否大于3，新思路
极简的表现主义，麦克白较中规中矩的一次影像呈现。但作为科恩本人的重大突破，风格化（包括剧情的演绎）当然是成功的
绝妙的视觉风格，感觉把黑白光影运用到了极致，呈现的效果超越了一般意义上的复古。但同时也几乎放弃了对原作的任何解读，感觉就像是用影像的形式看了一版set design极其出色但文本保守演绎也没有态度的话剧。

4:3黑白、打光，这都像黑泽明的电影元素。虽然不同场景间剪辑衔接地很巧妙，但大段自言自语舞台剧风格的电影真让我受不了，20分钟弃剧。
不知道这是看的第几个版本的Macbeth了，不是最好的，也不是最差的，但算的上three witches的舞美、造型和表现手法能让我记住的版本了，lady macbeth略失望，Duncan 差点味，其余过得去。Joel Coen辛苦了~

丹泽尔华盛顿演得确实是不太行……灯光真漂亮，女巫那几场戏非常好。
在如今创意几近枯竭的好莱坞，就算是想象力如科恩一般的大佬也难免会落入改编俗套的境地。这一版的“麦克白”的影视化，出彩的地方还是落脚于迷人的构图和精致的摄影，两位主演的表演则是无功无过。而以往那种存在于科恩兄弟电影里的灵气，也在这部单飞作品中消失殆尽。 全片看下来，这部麦克白除了让肤色更加多元化以外并没有在其内核中看到有什么特别的地方，原本希望科恩式的戏谑解构也就成为了空谈，让场景更加回归于舞台化虽然增强了戏剧性，片中华丽的古文词藻也加深了本片的韵味，但这些不足以改变本片在内容上的平庸。科恩兄弟这次分家所带来的后果，不知是好是坏。
麦克白的故事改编的太中规中矩了，但是电影美学但是做到了极致，古典美的氛围拉满了，好像看一部伯格曼时期的看电影。
科恩怎么搞第七封印那套，但是里面有的现代有的古典很违和啊！

科恩在时空接住了莎翁，科恩嫂就是麦克白夫人。
又是一部影像美学大于一切的电影，极简风格忠实还原了莎士比亚的文本，摄影布景灯光令人叹为观止。尤其对女巫、寓言、鬼魅、梦幻等超现实奇观的表现，又cult又诡谲，又伯格曼又黑泽明。
